LIV Golf’s season finale in Michigan has not been cancelled, Sky Sports News understands.
Sources close to LIV Golf have told Sky Sports News that the event is currently going ahead as planned, with the league preparing for individual and team events.
LIV Michigan is scheduled for the end of August and sources indicated, that while it has not been cancelled, alternative events are being planned.

Bryson DeChambeau claims that LIV Golf players were left ‘surprised’ by the Saudi Public Investment Fund’s decision to withdraw funding from the organisation.
The news comes after the Saudi-backed PIF said that the “substantial investment required is no longer consistent” with the fund’s investment strategy moving forward in April.
It is understood that LIV continues to be in discussions with prospective investors, with sources indicating that talks are moving at pace.
No announcement is anticipated until after LIV Golf New York.
