The first of the two new tracks runs on Sunday, Aug. 16 at noon ET on FOX.

The odds, once again, are in Alex Palou’s favor. Not only is Palou favored at Markham and in the look-ahead lines for next week’s race in D.C., but the reigning champ is a heavy favorite to defend his title. With six wins, six poles and a 110-point lead on the next driver for the championship, it’s hard to bet against Palou.
One To Watch
Kyle Kirkwood sits 110 points behind Palou for the championship and is one to watch this weekend. Earlier this season, Kirkwood got the win at Arlington, another inaugural street course on INDYCAR’s 2026 circuit. With that in mind, could Kirkwood end up getting into Winner’s Circle again as the series races on the streets of Markham for the first time?
